I was enchanted by this piece of art at the cross-section of Lincoln Way and S grand Avenue during my stay in this beautiful university town. This picture was capture while my friend was driving and I happen to be on the passenger side. I liked the way slow shutter speed added the blurriness. This beautiful sculpture was crafted by artist Dennis Patton in the year 1976. As the wood version decayed with time, it has been replaced with one made of rusting steel again by the same artist in the year 1999. Winds, Rain, Sun or Snow no matter what, you will always find this pretty Iron Woman standing tall and fascinating all people passing by.
